Medieval Joust of Simone
It’s the re-enactment of a medieval joust in which the four districts of Montisi battle: Castle Square, San Martin and Torre. It takes place in the mid-afternoon of the closest Sunday to August 5. To the winner is assigned the “cloth”, a banner painted with the image of the Madonna and the Child.
In November a weekend of gastronomic culture where you can taste the fresh new oil of this corner of the Crete Senesi accompanied by other typical products of this area (white truffle and wine Doc Orcia). You can enjoy food and wine both in the streets and various restaurants.
